Our sensor module provides waterproof ultrasonic transducers (built in or adhesive 
type) and control unit (mini computer) to assist in distant measurement for the LED 
readout.

Our module is modified to send an RS232 data message, containing the current 
distance on the display, plus the state of each LED. This information is encoded 
numerically and presented it in format 9600-8-n-1 for the serial communication, and this data would be sent several times per second. Therefore the distance 
information, as displayed by the LEDs on the module can be sent into an embedded 
PC, via an RS232 serial port. Maximum 4 sensors can be offered to eliminate blind 
spots for large area of detection.      

Testing procedures:-

1. Connect sonar units to L & R sockets 
2. Connect power to 12V DC supply - can hear both units firing. 
3. Connect module to RS232 (COM1) port on PC. 
4. Open port at 9600-8-n-1 format. 
5. Send 0xF0 (decimal 240)
